I love family dinners

I’ve been busy and too lazy to update about my life here. I just had reunion dinner with my relatives, it’s been a long time since we did that and we sure had a good time catching up with each other. =) Time really flies and my cousin and I wish to go back in time when we were young and family outing was a weekly thing. Now that everyone has grown older, busier and involved in our own life, meeting up is an occasional thing. I think the highlight was my cousin who is 2 yrs younger than me said this….

Na: I think we have very good grandparents and I love them alot.

Na: because they speak chinese and they always give us stuffs

So, CNY is just a week away and I haven’t packed my wardrobe and my notes are lying all over the place. Haven’t bought new clothes and I’m just not in the cny mood, because I really hate cnys. The songs and the food makes me sick. I gonna eat steamboat and the loveletters, prawn rolls and pineapple tarts for weeks. Bleahhh..

I heart weekends

I loooove my weekends. Especially the one that just past, because I spent it with my dear love and we had the most fulfilling one. Whatever we feel like doing at that moment, we just went ahead. It feels great We are feeling ‘homely’ these days (yes we were both at home on a Friday night) so I didn’t expect my dear to be so ‘ON’ and agree to go out to have lunch with me on Sat. Yay! or else I thought it was gonna be another maggi mee for lunch.

So, went to my favourite old place to have prata, and satisfied my cravings for that day. Choco bananas! Dear also had her fix of her favourite durain.

Then felt like jogging, swimming, rollerblading. Both of us were so fickle in the car not able to decide. The weather was hot like hell as usual, so we utilized our dusty bikes and headed down to B’s place for a swim session. Hadn’t met him in ages and sure good to see him again.

Of all these, dear made my day by agreeing to go party with me after rejecting me on so many occasions. Kudos!

Thank You W for being my daylight buddy, despite we both are tired and you still have to tolerate my nonsense. It feels good to be at the market having breakfast though the noodle doesn’t seem to taste as fantastic as before, but breathing the fresh air in the morning is definitely a better feeling as compared to waking up in the afternoon and having crappy lunch.

Later that evening, My dear and I went in search for the legendary buffalo wings because we just had to try it with all that raving. Made so many rounds and turns as if we were lost in a maze. Thanks to M, we finally reached the far far away land.

Haa..I’ve been naming Lolo dear cuz these days we have been like a couple. Doing things together, and even agreeing to waking up early to have breakfast together. Because we just love that feeling and no we’re not lesbians.

While having dinner at prata place (yes again) 5mins drive from far far away land, we overhead this from the table beside us.

Boy to Mom: Can you don’t bully ur husband and go be nice and change this pls pls? (refering to prata)

Boy: Nooo.. You don’t even know that I don’t like to eat that?
Dad: Oh, I forgot..but your sister likes that.

Hahaha..Got my fix of music, movies and dramas. I’m a happy girl but I really have to stop enjoying myself in all these and start studying. Gawwwd!

Running away from the noise and mess, I decided to head to Lolo’s place! Looking at lonely Stitch lying on the bed, I grabbed him and had a fantabulous time. Hahahahaha…

While Lolo was busy skyping and doing her work, she asked me to self-service like I always do.. I was hungry and thirsty and look what I found…

(Every) day of distractions

I told myself I must start studying today because I haven’t been paying attention in classes and have skipped so many classes. So a lot of it must depend on myself. And remembering last year’s last minute study struggles was disastrous. Start studying and I’ve been telling myself that a lot of times and I did today! BUT I just can’t sit my butt still at home (just like the past few years). There’s just too many distractions like the TV, my laptop, my bed and my sister packing her stuff in our room! Things are lying all over the place and there’s too many

Goshhh.. So while I got distracted I went to “Zeng” my phone…. Tadahhhh!!

A new year, another new start

Feeling good after watching Avatar, so we camwhored.

After which we headed to ulu Tanjong beach. First time counting down to a new year at the beach. Luckily it wasn’t as crowded as I imagined it would be. For the new year, Lolo and I wanted to do something crazy together and trying to dress like each other was the least we could do.

Off to The Shack we go!

Every year was the same shit and it kinda got boring after 12, luckily there was a tarot booth. We were curious and maybe it would be a good way to start the year by asking how 2010 would be for ourselves, hoping to find a guide towards a direction. It was the highlight of the night man! because generally what the man told about us was quite accurate and that really made me think and want to get down to doing it, because I’ve been too damn lazy! *Slap slap Pipi needs to wake up for 2010!

So… I started by packing my room. It took me a whole afternoon because organising stuffs can be a real headache, because I am a messy girl.

I’m so proud of myself because for once I tidied up my stuffs, I nailed and fixed a drawer, wiped everything clean and I’m not finished yet because my closet is the real headache. Arggg..

2009 wasn’t that bad because there were some interesting happenings that spiced up my life and I met some new people who taught me something. I’m sure glad that I opened up and summed things up with M, though things could have turn for the better. Though it’s a bitter sweet feeling but it’s best for both of us. I really hope that 2010 will be full of surprises and a meaningful one. In hope that it’s a new year of gaining, learning, realization and exploration for me. Happy new year to all. Cheers!
